Hello I'm Nichola owner of Ivy Green Flowers. An experienced florist with a passion for spreading some flower loving. I currently focus my time on offering bespoke wedding flowers and fun flower workshops.
My flower passion started at a young age as I have always enjoyed what flowers have to offer, their wonderful scents, intricate details and stunning displays. My career journey started in 2006 when I completed a City & Guilds Floristy course at Writtle College. Following this I worked from my kitchen table to serve customers with their floral creations for weddings, funeral tributes and gift bouquets. Life then took a slightly different direction as it sometimes does and I hung up my floral apron for a short while until 2017 when I was able to return to my favourite past time and set up Ivy Green Flowers.
To further my skills and knowledge I have completed courses with the fabulous Cambridge Flower School and in 2018 completed RHS level 2 in Garden Planning and Maintenance.
I understanding that booking on to one of my workshops or trusting me to provide you with amazing wedding flowers can be a bit daunting! So you should probably see if you like me first...here's a bit about me...
I'm a mum of three
I love collecting owl ornaments and glass jars
I'm an avid supporter of British grown flowers and aspiring to grow my own cut flowers
My spare time is well spent on countryside walks, gardening or infront of the tv with a box of chocs!
I love the seaside, but scared of deep water
Favourite places to visit are the Suffolk coast, Norfolk and Finchingfield
Well that's quite enough about me, now over to you...
